In this class, he presents an overview of a new tool for calculating Return on Investment (ROI) based on the results of current research. This innovative tool includes reference to current workplace concerns such as absence management, presenteeism, stress and shows how to calculate the impact an EAP may have on these challenging issues.

Dr. Seidl also reviews a tool for measuring clinical results, and discusses how to link the effectiveness of individual EAP work to organizational ROI.

With a background as clinician, manager, sales director and researcher, Wolfgang is a recognized leader who brings a thoughtful perspective to this discussion. Based in the UK with Validium, a well-respected EAP firm, he joins us in Chicago for this special course.

WOLFGANG SEIDL is Director at the Validium Group, an EAP company in the United Kingdom. He is a Medical Doctor with in-depth training in Medical Psychology and Psychosomatic Medicine, holds a Master's degree in Psychiatry, Philosophy & Society, and a Diploma in Counseling and has completed further training in various models of psychotherapy. Wolfgang is a BACP accredited Counselor and is a member of various national and international psychotherapeutic and research organisations.
