Fundamentals of Emplyee Assistance Programs

Purpose of the Course

EAP work requires knowledge ranging from substance abuse and behavioral health to work organizations and human resources management. This widely acclaimed, highly interactive two-day course is an excellent overview for those preparing for EACC certification or wanting an opportunity to learn the newest developments in EAP design and delivery.

2018 Dates and Locations

Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be submitted 7 days prior to the day of training. If you cancel, you can choose to receive a one-year credit memo for a future training of equal value, or receive a refund less a $50 processing fee. Cancellations made after the 7-day cutoff will result in a charge of the full course fee. If you cancel after the 7-day cutoff, you may send another person in your place. No refunds will be made for partially-attended classes. If a class is cancelled by Blair Consulting Group, a full refund will be given.

All courses begin with a continental breakfast and registration at 8:00; class times 8:30-5:00.

About the Instructors

BRENDA R. BLAIR, MBA, CEAP, President Since 1983, Brenda has provided Fortune 500 employers and others with high quality, customized consultation and training on the design and evaluation of EAPs, managed care, and work/ life programs. She has worked in a multi-state EAP, a treatment center, and an international addictions organization. She was selected for the EAP Hall of Fame and the prestigious EAPA Member of the Year award. She has conducted training in the U.S., U.K., Japan, and South Africa.

*The qualifications and examination to become a CEAP are administered by the Employee Assistance Certification Commission (EACC). Although the EACC requires Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for certification and recertification, the EACC does not endorse or require any specific training program. Successful completion of this course does not guarantee that a participant will pass the CEAP exam.
